Our Story

We are Foxy Tees!

Foxy Tees is family owned and operated by the Fox family, who loves hard and plays even harder.  Yup, that’s right, you put it together…we are the Fox, in Foxy Tees.

Meet dad {Mike} and mom {Linda} - or Poppa and Gigi as they are known to their grands. Together they have three adult children; Tara, Ryan, and Lindsey. The three adult Fox children have five little foxes of their own, who have Poppa and Gigi living their best life.

Rewind 21 years, Mike was a successful coach and teacher. He had three beautiful and growing children who were active in sports and extracurriculars. He missed out on so much of his own children’s life experiences and activities, like so many coaches and teachers because he gave so much of his time to his craft and students. While officiating basketball, Mike stumbled upon an opportunity that sparked his interest and would allow him to make a living while having the option for flexibility of schedule- which was extremely appealing.

Mike loved being a coach and teacher but couldn’t keep missing so much of his family's activities and experiences. So, sure enough, from that opportunity - Foxy Tees was born out of the family garage! Mike continued to coach and teach all while grinding away on the side to make his Foxy Tees dream work. Being self-driven and very motivated, he of course did it. He was able to stop teaching and make his dream of slinging tees a reality. The business began with making custom tees for businesses, sports teams, and schools, and anyone else who asked.

Fast forward several years, Ryan, the middle and self-proclaimed foxiest of the three children, was married with a baby boy and wrapping up his professional baseball career. He, like his father, was determined to make his family his priority. He was searching for a career that would provide him with a schedule that allowed for him to be home more and present for his growing family. Enter Mike and Ryan’s Foxy Tees Partnership. Ryan now has 2 boys, Jaxon and Beckett. He is able to devote his time to Foxy Tees and his wife and kids. He has been working alongside Mike for several years now, and Foxy Tees has been the biggest blessing for them and their family.

For the last few years, Ryan has been thinking about expanding from only custom orders to creating our own in-house designed shirts and sweatshirts. He has had help from his sisters, family, and friends - and was able to launch shopfoxytees, a family owned and operated southern apparel company who hopes to leave you feeling foxy!

Thank you for joining Foxy Tees on our journey.

We cannot wait to see where it takes us!
